How We Tested

Every year, dozens of new "paid survey" platforms pop up promising easy money for sharing your opinion. And every year, most of them turn out to be a waste of time. They either don't pay, they take weeks to process withdrawals, or they disqualify you from 90% of surveys after you've already spent 10 minutes answering screening questions.

We signed up for 20+ survey platforms, completed surveys on each one, and tracked everything: how much we received per hour, how often we got disqualified, how fast they paid, and whether the payout methods were actually convenient. Out of all of them, only 5 platforms were worth keeping.

#1. Survey Junkie

Survey Junkie was the most consistent platform we tested. The survey matching was solid, and we rarely got disqualified after starting a survey, which is the most frustrating part of other platforms. The payout options are flexible and the threshold is reasonable.

What stood out most was the volume of available surveys. Most platforms give you 1-3 per week. Survey Junkie consistently had surveys available almost daily, which makes a real difference over time.

#2. Branded Offers

Branded Offers stood out for how polished the experience is. The signup takes about 30 seconds, just email and password, and you're immediately dropped into a dashboard with 200+ available tasks. It's not just surveys either. You can test apps, try free trials, and complete offers alongside traditional questionnaires.

The variety is what makes this one stick. On slow survey days, there's always something else to do. And the interface is clean and modern. You can tell this platform actually invests in user experience, which is rare in this space.

#3. Make Survey Money

Make Survey Money is one of the more straightforward platforms on this list. No apps to download, no complicated point systems. You sign up, take surveys, and get paid. The platform matches you with surveys based on your profile, which helps cut down on disqualifications.

The signup asks for a bit more info than some others (name, email, address), but once you're in, the survey flow is smooth. Payouts are reliable and the platform has been around long enough to build a solid track record.

#4. Surveoo

Surveoo is a solid everyday survey platform. Nothing flashy, but it works. The signup is fast, the surveys are straightforward, and PayPal payouts come through without issues.

The daily polls are a nice touch. It's a quick way to stay active on the platform every day without committing to a long survey session. The more consistently you use it, the more you'll get out of it.

#5. Freecash

Freecash was a pleasant surprise. It's not a traditional survey site. It combines surveys with other small tasks like testing apps and signing up for free trials. That variety keeps things interesting and means there's almost always something available to do.

The real advantage is the low payout threshold. You can cash out much faster than most platforms, and PayPal payouts are processed quickly. If you want fast access to your earnings without waiting weeks, Freecash is hard to beat.

What About the Other 15+ Platforms?

Some had payout thresholds so high you'd need months of daily surveys to cash out. Others had such aggressive disqualification rates that you'd waste 30 minutes just to earn nothing. A few had suspiciously slow payment processing or limited payout options.

I'm not saying they're all scams. Some are legitimate but just not worth the time investment compared to the five above. If a platform can't pay you within a reasonable timeframe through PayPal, it didn't make my list.
